What was the inspiration for this piece?

The inspiration from the black and white photo comes from a project I did with a friend while studying in London.  We made a book documenting gardens and parks in London, and we tried to express what it’s like being in a long distance relationship, and feelings both of loneliness but security.

What was your creative process?

While both of these photos were taken with a project or a theme in mind, I usually take photos as they come to me, and come up with a cohesive body of work after shooting for a while.
