What was the inspiration for this piece?

The color photo was from a project of shooting at a low shutter speed, where I tried (maybe in vain) to show how quickly the city of London moves. I like the halo effect that came out above the man, as it looks almost like a renaissance painting to me.

What was your creative process?

While both of these photos were taken with a project or a theme in mind, I usually take photos as they come to me, and come up with a cohesive body of work after shooting for a while.
